The following article will explain how to add your Smart Wi-Fi IF Universal Remote to your App Nexxt Home.

Where can I download Nexxt Home App to use my Smart Wi-Fi IR Universal Remote

1. You can go to your Store App, either App Store for iOS or Play Store for Android devices:


 

Note:There are some cases where you will not be able to download the Nexxt Home App. If you run into this scenario,  please make sure your Smartphone is up-to-date and the version is compatible:
iOS 10.0 or later
Android 5.0 or later
How to add my Universal Remote
Before we start, make sure your smartphone it is connected to your 2.4 GHz wireless signal. Our devices do not support 5 GHz wireless signals.
Make sure you are working with devices that use the frequency 38 kHz, since our Smart Wi-Fi IR Universal Remote works on.

1. Open the App Nexxt Home
2. Login in to the App Nexxt Home
3. In the main screen, select the + button in the top right corner.

4. From the list of devices, look for the Smart IR icon and select it.

5. On the next screen, make sure your smartphone is connected to your 2.4 GHz wireless signal. If it is, this will be auto selected, and all you need to do is to type the wireless password. Then press the next button.

6. On the next screen, select EZ Mode, press the "Confirm indicator is rapidly blinking" and press next.

7. This will start the pairing process, at the end you will be prompt to keep the default name or changed.

 

Adding devices to my Smart Wi-Fi IR Universal Remote 
Note: If you want to know if your TV or other devices are compatible with our Smart Wi-Fi IR Universal Remote, you will need to do a search on the corresponding category.

1. Select the Smart IR device that we already add it following the above steps.

2. On the next screen, press the add button, to continue

3. Here you will see the categories the Smart Wi-Fi IR can support

Note: For the following process, we will be settings a TV on our Smart Wi-Fi IR Universal Remote

4. Select the TV category, and you will see the brand list. This is the list of different brands that our Smart Wi-Fi IR Universal Remote support.
 

Note: If your device brand do not appear on the list, that means it is not supported. Depending on the device, you can do the DIY setup as an alternative. For more information about this process, please go to the following link: Smart Wi-Fi Universal Remote DIY setting.

5. In the search bar, type the brand of your TV, in our example we type the name of the brand RCA, and then we proceed to select it.

6. You will be presented with the following screen

Note: Your Smart Wi-Fi IR Universal Repeater needs to be at least 10 meters from the TV, so the infrared signal can reach the TV receiver.
And also, the Smart Wi-Fi IR Universal Repeater needs to be in range of your Wi-Fi signal to receive the commands you send from the App to him.

7. The Smart Wi-Fi IR Universal Remote, will work with a range of options. For this example, in our case this TV RCA, it seems to works from options 1 to 19.
These options are the frequency and universal codes the remote use to control your device, in our example the RCA TV.

8. Start pressing the On/Off button and check if the TV turn On or Off.
Press the volume button up and down and check if the TV receive the command.
Press the channel button up and down and check if the TV receive the command.
If this work, that means, the option that is selected or the one you were passing through until you manage to get the correct one, is working with your TV.
If works, then press the blue button to select that option, and that will save the settings. And will return you to the main screen.
