Stealth 150: Traffic Control

This article applies for Stealth 150 & 300 (HORIZONTAL BAR AND VERTICAL BAR FIRMWARE).

OTE: Your N Router is compatible with any Operating System for setup, it only requires a internet browser to access it. ( IE, Mozilla, Firefox , Chrome, Safari, etc)

In order to use traffic control or bandwidth control, this option needs to be enabled first on the Router.

Please follow the next steps to enable the Traffic (Bandwidth) control properly.

1. Connect your Nexxt router to your PC with an Ethernet cable on the LAN port (Yellow).
2. Connect your Nexxt router to your ISP modem with an Ethernet Cable on the WAN port (Blue).

3. Verify that your PC has created the Local Area network on Network Connections.

4. Verify that the Firewall and Antivirus system are disabled to avoid any problems or restrictions.
5. Once all connected,  open your browser (IE,Mozilla,Firefox, etc) and enter the IP address of the router "" by default. This will prompt you to type some credentials to access the router webpage.

a. Use "admin" as user and password.

b. On the menu, click on “
Traffic control" and enable it.

a. Use "admin" as password.

b. On the main screen, click on “Advanced Settings” in the middle of the webpage.

c. On "Advanced settings", go to "Bandwidth Control" to enable it.
Once the Traffic control is enabled, you can proceed to add the upload and download speeds.

You can now select the different services to be allowed, including the IP of the PC or laptop device you are going to control.

(Note: It is recommended to bind an IP address to a MAC address, to ensure that a particular device always receives the same IP address.  You can go to DHCP Server > DHCP Listing option, in order to configure this parameter.)

Please keep in mind that the speed is calculated in terms of KBytes/s, not kbps.

-1 KB (one KiloByte) = 1,024 Bytes (approximately 1 thousand Bytes)
-1 kbps= 1,000 bits per second

Therefore, you need to do the proper conversion if you are not familiar on how to use transfer speeds expressed in Kbytes/s.
