N-Routers Which Router firmware do I have?

This article applies for models Nebula150, Stealth150, Solaris300, Nyx150, Tarvos300, Acrux300, Polaris150 and Viking150.

This article with help you determine which Firmware you have on your router and which steps you need to follow on our Support page, it will also help you determine which firmware you need to download when upgrading.

To verify the Firmware version on your router, it is neccesary to identify the router model that is installed for each firmware version. For this step, find at the bottom of the router the "Router model" as shown on the picture below:

With this information, now let's find the associated firmware for each model:

ARN00154U1, ARN01154U1, ARN02304U1 - Vertical Firmware

ARN00154U2, ARN01154U2, ARN02304U2, ARN01154U3, ARN02304U3 - Horizontal Firmware

ARN03304U1, ARNPR154U1, ARN01154U4 - Default Firmware


The Vertical Firmware is the first version that we release on our N routers and it looks like the image below:

It´s called the Vertical Firmware because the options are displayed on a side bar.

The Horizontal Firmware is the last version that we release on our N routers and it looks like the image below:

Its called the horizontal firmware due to the options being displayed on a Horizontal Bar.

The Default Firmware is the latest version that we release for our Gigabit and 3G routers and it looks like the image below:

This firmware is similar with Vertical firmware, but this one has other special features (like a Help Dialog box on the right side of the screen and other special tab menus) that does not come on Vertical firmware
